Mission Mountain Getaway ( Swan Lake )
Mission Mountain Getaway is situated in the heart of the scenic Swan Valley, Montana. Located 13 miles south of Swan Lake on Montana Highway 83, this cabin offers a relaxing break from hectic daily life. While the cabin is not located on a lake, Piper Creek is 20 feet from the front porch.
The Mission Mountain Wilderness is to the west of the cabin and the Bob Marshall Wilderness is to the east, which allows for numerous hiking possibilities to pristine mountain lakes. The mountain lakes offer fishing for westslope cutthroat trout and rainbow trout or simply enjoy the breathtaking views. The cabin is within walking or biking distance to the Swan River, which has extraordinary fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout. There are also numerous areas to mountain bike or ride horses.
The cabin is rustic yet offers the modern conveniences for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The cabin sleeps 4 but can accommodate 6 comfortably and offers one bedroom with a queen bed, loft with two twin beds and a queen size sofa sleeper. Cooking facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, and gas barbecue. A grocery store with gas is located nine miles from the cabin.
