ROOSTER'S STEELHEAD GUIDES - FORKS, WA. Washingtons' Olympic Peninsula is home to five of the west coasts greatest steelhead rivers, and is perhaps one of the last strongholds of the native steelhead. The Hoh, The Bogachiel, The Calawah, The Sol Duc and the Dickey Rivers all have great runs of fish, and are well within a short drive from Forks. Having spent most of the last 20 winters chasing steel, Rooster still maintains a guide service in Forks during the peak of the run in February, March and April each year.
