Welcome to Flathead Vista Lodge!
Perched midway up the mountain with Flathead Lake stretched out below, Flathead Vista Lodge is where Montana shows off. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake, forest, and the Swan Range from nearly every room. The soaring beamed great room, sleek quartz kitchen, and fireside living space set the tone for a stay that feels equal parts luxury and wilderness. Step outside and indulge in the amazing views from the hot tub, or end your night around the fire pit sharing stories of your western adventure.
This showstopper was built to make the view the main event. Inside, the sun-filled dining area, living room, and kitchen invite you to start your day with a cup of coffee. The primary and second bedroom sit on the main level, each with a king bed and ensuite bath, with the primary opening onto the deck through a private slider, featuring a soaking tub made for lake views and plenty of room to get ready for a night out. Downstairs, a second living room gives the group even more space to spread out, alongside three more bedrooms: two with king beds and one bunk room with three twin beds, five bedrooms in all, room enough for everyone.
Outside, towering pines wrap the property in total privacy, with the lake and mountains on full display in every direction. Whether you're stretched out on the deck with a morning coffee or soaking in the hot tub as the sun sets, this is where the views do all the talking. Flathead Vista Lodge isn't a place you visit once. It's the place you'll be dreaming about long after you've left.

Montana is known as The Treasure State, home to some of the rarest sapphires in the world. The Yogo sapphire, found only here, is coveted for one simple reason: there is nothing else like it. Neither is this home.
Rare. Refined. Entirely worth it.
Book it before someone else does.
Winter
Nestled on the west shore of Flathead Lake, Lakeside is a quiet home base for a snowy season full of adventure. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area sits right above town, a family-friendly, uncrowded hill known for its "upside-down" layout, where you park at the summit and ski down to sweeping views of the lake below. For a bigger mountain day, Whitefish Mountain Resort is an easy drive north. Off the slopes, try ice fishing in the lake's sheltered bays, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on nearby forest trails, or snowmobiling in the surrounding mountains with a local outfitter. At the end of the day, cozy lakeside restaurants and small-town charm make winter in Lakeside feel like a true Montana escape.
Summer
When the weather warms, Lakeside comes alive on the water. Launch right from town onto Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48, for boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and fishing in crystal-clear water. Explore the nearby shoreline at West Shore State Park, or cruise out toward Wild Horse Island to spot bighorn sheep and wild horses. Back on land, the trails around Blacktail Mountain offer hiking and mountain biking with lake views at every turn. Glacier National Park and the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road are about an hour away, and Kalispell's shops and dining are just a short drive north. Whether you're chasing sunsets from the dock or summiting a mountain trail, summer in Lakeside is pure Flathead Valley magic.
