This historic cabin, built in 1902, sits on the bank of the Gallatin River between Big Sky and Bozeman. Enjoy fantastic fly fishing just steps from the back door. As you enter the cabin, you are welcomed by the cozy open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, equipped with a pull-out sofa that sleeps two. The bathroom is on the main floor and is fully equipped with a tub/shower combo and fresh linens. As you enter the bedroom you’ll find a full-sized bed, perfect for two. From there, you’ll go up the log ladder to enter the loft where you’ll find two twin-sized beds. This cabin comfortable sleeps 6 people making it perfect for a getaway with friends or family! Relax in this cozy cabin and enjoy the peaceful river sounds after a long day of fishing!

Originally a dude ranch, Karst Camp was established in 1901 by Pete Karst. It was the gateway to Yellowstone National Park for early tourists. The camp, known as Karst Stage Stop Inn, saw up to 600 tourists per summer with 25 guests cabins. In 1937, Pete built a towrope for skiers, which has since vanished, as well as a bar and brothel for local miners. Visitors can imagine the rugged conditions both residents and tourists must have had to endure to appreciate Yellowstone Country 100 years ago.

In the summer, you are just minutes from exceptional fly fishing, river rafting, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ziplining and more. Plus, the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only about 45 minutes away while following the historic HWY 191 along the scenic Gallatin River. Don't miss the free concerts, farmer's markets, and weekly special events throughout the summer!
