Sink into the leather sofa at Many Springs 622 and the whole of Yellow Bay is right there through the balcony slider. This upper-level studio at Many Springs Resort has no stairs from the parking area to the door, a balcony looking down on the lawn and docks, and Flathead Lake out front. Downtown Bigfork is about 20 minutes away and Glacier National Park is about an hour.
Up to four can stay. The king bed sits under a warm wood beam, and the leather sofa by the slider opens into a queen sleeper. Four rattan chairs circle the glass table at the lake window, and the full kitchen has a full-size fridge, an electric range, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Keurig. There's a desk too, for anyone who needs to check in. It suits a couple who wants room to stretch out, friends on a lake getaway or a small family.
Spend the day swimming and kayaking from the dock below or driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Back home, slide open the balcony door, put your feet up and watch the evening light move across the bay.
Summer
When the snow melts, the Flathead Valley transforms into a playground of lakes, trails, and endless sunshine. Spend your days on Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, where you can enjoy boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming in crystal-clear waters. Just a short drive away, Glacier National Park beckons with the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and over 70 incredible day hikes. Closer to home, soak in the charm of downtown Bigfork -- a vibrant hub for local shops, art galleries, award-winning restaurants, and the iconic Bigfork Summer Playhouse. Outdoor lovers can hike the Swan River Nature Trail, explore the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, cast a line in countless lakes and rivers, or play a round at Eagle Bend Golf Course.
